Honey Facts:
Our honey is classified as raw honey. This means the honey has never been heated above the temperature of the hive.
We do filter the honey (200 microns) which lets the natural pollens come through and gives you a rich smooth texture. It is only our opinion with over 30 years of experience working in the honey business that leaving the bee parts and wax remnants in the honey is detremental to the purity of the product.
The outside of the wax capping serves as a protective barrier from impuritys getting into the honey. We disregard the outside wax cappings and melt them down for beeswax.
Our honey is carefully tested for purity, low moisture for a thicker consistency and nectar source.
