It’s award show season. What does that mean? Parties. Lot of them. What do parties need? Snacks. Lots of them.
While you are watching the celebrities strut their stuff on the red carpet, munch away on some popcorn, that in our humble opinion is, fit for the silver screen stars of Hollywood.
This recipe was listed on EatingWell.com as being high in fiber, gluten-free, low in sodium, and soy free. With those nutritional credentials alone it sounds like it’s Hollywood-approved to me. And if you don’t like peanuts, just leave them out.
1 teaspoon honey
1 teaspoon melted butter
1 tablespoon salted peanuts
3 cups air-popped popcorn
Mix the honey and butter in a small bowl.
Add the salted peanuts to the popcorn in your serving bowl.
Pour the honey and butter on the popcorn and stir gently. No one likes broken bits of popcorn.
